Having spent many years in yachting, I understand the love one has for their boat. I see the beauty in the sleek lines, and crisp whites and colors, of the boat itself, as well as the cool colors of the water through which it glides. An original watercolor of your boat will be something you can admire for years.
Although I call these paintings “Yacht Portraits”, I paint boats of all sizes.
I will paint your boat in any setting. Motoryachts – cabin cruiser to trawler, or sailboats – ketch to catamaran. Painting will be done from photos of your boat that you provide - at the marina (if view is unobstructed), the dock behind your home, or out on the open waters. I will supplement yours with my own photos if your boat is docked in Dade, Broward or Palm Beach Counties. For boats “living” elsewhere, I will paint from your photos and other supporting material.
Approximate size of portrait is 18” x 24”.
Once your painting is completed, hand signed, “Yacht Portrait” note cards, in boxes of 8, can also be ordered.
